A very successful year, just one step short

Unfortunately, we fell short 2-1 to Ft. Zumwalt West in the Wickenheiser Cup. We congratulate their players and coaching staff for the win. Every Lafayette player battled hard, gave 110%, and gave us an exciting game.

During the entire 22/23 season our players have been resilient, stayed positive and developed together as a team. During the playoffs, our team overcame adversity with the injury of several key players and still advanced to the final game. For our underclassmen, they will be ready for our run next season. Our seven seniors have laced their skates for their last Lafayette hockey game, and they are now official alumni of Lafayette Hockey.
To our coaching staff led by Coach Carrico who have dedicated their time, energy, and knowledge in developing these young men and women both on and off the ice and have been the engineers of this wild ride, we appreciate each of you.

Thank you to our board, our volunteers and to all the Lafayette supporters who come to our games, supported our fund raisers and brought the Lancer spirit throughout the season.

We’ll be back.
