2020 Tournament Rules – per Marquette Hockey, Tournament Sponsors and Wentzville Ice Arena
There will be a max capacity of 200 people per rink (not including players/coaches). At the rink, our health checkers will be ensuring that everyone who enters the rink is wearing a mask. The first 200 people will be given a ticket that will admit them into the rink lobby where they will pay the $5/pp admittance fee to the game and get their hand stamped. The rink will open 45 minutes prior to each game which should ensure enough time for all parents being able to pay their admittance fee to their player’s game. We further ask that fans either wait outside or in their car after paying admittance fee until 15 minutes prior to game time as there is no gathering in the rink lobby. Fans will show their hand stamp for readmittance into the rink. One adult can pay for up to 2 admittance fees upon arrival, ensuring that spouses can be admitted together even if they don’t travel together.
All clubs are welcomed and encouraged to live stream your games for your club’s families and fans who may be high risk and unable to attend. Each club would be responsible to set that up on their own.
Our goal is to have a safe and competitive hockey tournament. Please encourage all your players to wear masks at all times (even in the locker rooms) until they are ready to put on their helmet and get on the ice.
